Implants
What is Implants?
A dental implant is a sophisticated, permanent solution for tooth loss, designed to replicate the entire structure of a natural tooth. It consists of a high-grade titanium post that is surgically embedded into the jawbone, where it serves as an artificial root. Over time, a biological process called osseointegration occurs, during which the bone fuses with the titanium to create an incredibly stable foundation. This anchor is then capped with a custom-made crown, bridge, or denture, effectively restoring the mouth’s full function and aesthetic appeal.
At Cleopatra Dental, your comfort and confidence are our primary concerns. Our team utilizes advanced 3D imaging and digital labs to ensure that every implant is placed with pinpoint precision, resulting in a fit that feels indistinguishable from your natural teeth. We understand that the idea of dental surgery can be daunting, which is why we offer a calming environment and various sedation options to ensure your experience is as relaxing and stress-free as possible.

Why Would a Dental Implant Be Needed?
When a tooth is lost due to injury, decay, or infection, the underlying jawbone no longer receives the stimulation it needs from chewing forces. Without this stimulation, the bone begins to resorb or "shrink," which can lead to a sagging facial appearance and the shifting of remaining teeth. Dental implants are the only restorative option that actively prevents this bone loss by mimicking the natural root's interaction with the jaw.
- Prevent Jawbone Deterioration: Implants stimulate the bone, stopping the resorption process that follows tooth loss.
- Restore Full Chewing Power: Unlike removable dentures, implants allow you to eat all your favorite foods without fear of slipping or discomfort.
- Protect Surrounding Teeth: Implants stand independently, meaning we don’t have to grind down adjacent healthy teeth to support a bridge.
- Improve Speech Clarity: By filling gaps and providing a stable foundation, implants eliminate the "mumbling" or clicking often associated with missing teeth or loose dentures.
- Support Facial Structure: By maintaining bone density, implants help prevent the premature wrinkles and facial collapse caused by missing teeth.
- Provide a Lifetime Solution: While bridges and dentures may need replacement every 5–10 years, a well-maintained dental implant is designed to last a lifetime.
Who is a Candidate for a Root Canal?
The first step in restoring your smile is a comprehensive clinical examination at Cleopatra Dental. During this consultation, our specialists use low-radiation digital X-rays and 3D CBCT scans to evaluate your jawbone density and oral health to determine if implants are the right choice for you.
You may be an ideal candidate for dental implants if you experience:
- One or more missing teeth due to trauma or decay.
- Difficulty chewing or speaking because of tooth gaps.
- Loose or uncomfortable partial or full dentures.
- Significant bone loss in the jaw that requires a stable restorative solution.
- A desire for a permanent, "fixed" alternative to bridges.
- Healthy gum tissues free from active periodontal disease.
What is the Procedure?
At Cleopatra Dental, we prioritize precision, safety, and patient care throughout every stage of the implant process to ensure an ideal, long-lasting result.

- Initial Consultation & Planning: We perform a detailed 3D scan and digital evaluation to map out the exact placement of the implant relative to your nerves and bone structure.
- Implant Placement: Under local anesthesia or your choice of sedation, the titanium post is carefully inserted into the jawbone using minimally invasive techniques.
- Osseointegration (Healing): Over the next 3 to 6 months, the implant fuses with your natural bone. During this phase, a temporary restoration may be provided so you never have to leave without a tooth.
- Abutment Attachment: Once the implant is fully integrated, a small connector called an abutment is placed on top of the post to support the final tooth.
- Final Restoration: We take digital impressions to craft a custom porcelain crown that matches the shade, size, and shape of your surrounding teeth. Once attached, your new smile is complete
